The Managing Partner had a vision that with his nearly three decades of helping companies realize their market dominance, he could take his unique and successful skills and assemble a very talented and accredited staff of partners that come from multiple disciplines to build powerful organizations for companies across the globe. After graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management; he began his journey into sales and then soon after, building and creating successful market leading national account divisions, then numerous healthcare divisions for both Fortune 100 & Fortune 1000 companies. Our Managing Partner has numerous noteworthy accomplishments through his career; from securing the largest contract in his industry, to creating numerous selling divisions that have risen from a few millions in sales to in excess of $600M in just a few short years, as well as winning numerous awards across a number of industries. In addition, he is a professional speaker, International Business Consultant/Strategist where he consults with business leaders from all walks of life; from medical doctors, CPA’s to commercial and private business CEO’s who want to be proficient in their field and dominate their industry. Business consulting that encompasses the world on 6 continents and thirty eight countries including all across America.
Senior Partner Leadership
Our Momentum senior partner brings over 26 years of experience owning businesses that have grown significantly and then successfully selling to large industry consolidators. Our senior partner has led sales organizations of varying sizes while achieving sales and organizational goals. The Momentum senior partner has an entrepreneurial spirt with acquisition and merger experience from a number of industries. The Momentum senior partner’s expertise encompasses federal sales, the private sector as well as a number of commercial business models. Some of his highlights include: Consulting with business of all sizes on various topics related to sales & marketing and business operations. Serving on the Board of Director’s for a several companies as well as numerous committees for various associations.
Our Principal of Federal sales has served on Capitol Hill for five years before earning an MBA (Univ. of Maryland) and beginning a 20-year career at Boise Cascade Office Products (OfficeMax). At Boise, he initiated the federal program, where he developed a national sales effort involving GSA schedules, contracts, and BPAs. Currently, an assistant professor of management at the Weis School of Business (Susquehanna University), where he teaches the senior capstone course to business majors. Holding a Ph.D. from George Washington University and has research interests in business and public policy.
Momentum’s sales optimization team is highly regarded in sales and leadership consultancy, with over two decades of successful experience within a wide range of industry sectors. Team leaders has held professional sales and executive leadership positions at several companies, including CompuCom Systems, Boise, Redgate Industries where successful track records of building, developing and managing sales organizations. Additionally, Momentum has extensive experience in overseas product development and manufacturing, as well as establishing and implementing domestic import programs for consumer based retail goods. Our team leader holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Training, Development & Assessment
Our staff has spent their career with two aspirations – to provide the tools necessary for sales reps to dominate and win in their market and to provide management teams the leadership skills needed to help their staff meet the organizations goals. With over 20 years of training experience, the team has worked in all facets of sales and training including outside sales reps, sales managers, sales directors, international trainers, training managers and training directors. Working with large companies and consulting with countless others companies of all sizes all over the world has given our staff knowledge, expertise and experience to develop and deliver trainings that are real life, easy to implement and engaging. Our training has created a safe but challenging atmosphere has benefited over 20,000 participants worldwide. The Momentum Team leaders have also held previous leadership roles in human resources and career development, having coached, motivated and supported executives and professionals to build leadership capability and transform careers. The coaching is business focused that helps leaders develop critical skills and improve performance and behaviors needed to enhance their success. Certified in multiple talent and personality assessments including Birkman, StrengthsFinder, Myers-Briggs and 9 Box. Momentum strives to work with organizations to increase their leadership effectiveness and create a culture of development.
Momentum team leaders have worked in the sustainability field for over a decade achieving Green MBA’s focused on the Business Casefor Sustainability and the Triple Bottom Line approach to business. Our team was trained by some of the best minds in the sustainability field worldwide at Presidio Graduate School (San Francisco) and Green Mountain College (Vermont), Momentum Sustainability team are frequent speaker/panelists at sustainability conferences nationwide; using a systems thinking process that combines the Three P’s of People, Planet and Profit into a cohesive strategy to transform your organization and increase overall profitability. The Sustainability team has helped drive bottom line cost savings, new program development, change management and new product innovation at organizations such as Office Depot, The University of Notre Dame, City of Chicago, and the US EPA among others. Momentum recognizes that sustainability is not an end result, but a continual process of improvement towards the goals of reducing our impact on the natural environment, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting increased business profitability. Momentum Consulting will partner with organizations of all sizes to define and implement a sustainability framework whether they are starting from scratch, facing a specific challenge, or looking to take the next steps on an existing sustainability program.
Our expert team spans over twenty-plus years, Momentum has been driving organizational change to recognize operational efficiencies. With a core competence in Logistics and Information Technology consultative roles, Momentum has extensive knowledge in wide range of areas including EDI and other B2B communication standards, supply chain processes, compliance, and supplier relationship management. Having worked directly with large retailers such as JC Penney, CompUSA, as well as with the smaller organizations that do business with them, Momentum has the unique perspective on tailoring a solution based on need and cost. The Momentum Process Improvement team has spent their career working with companies to ensure that they run effectively as possible through thorough analysis of operational, financial, and IT processes. Furthermore, utilizing data mining, the team has identified millions in hard dollar recoveries. The Momentum Process Improvement leadership has over 20 years of experience working with large companies, including those in the FORTUNE 25, having leadership positions in operations, information technology, and internal audit.
