With the help of the aptly named BOSS management system he created, Marco is said to be able to pin point business solutions and rescue a business faster than any one else. Over the years he has made a name for himself as the “turnaround specialist who never fails”.
Every year Marco is single-handedly responsible for pumping millions of dollars of value into his clients’ businesses in the form of increased sales & profits, job creation and business valuation.
At 22, soon after graduating from college with a business degree in Hospitality Management, his world was spun upside down when his father passed away without warning. From that point on, the young man set out to study and understand the reasons behind life and business success. In the years since, Marco has made himself an autodidact authority on such business topics as: Leadership, Staff Management, Organizational Culture, Sales & Marketing, Operational Efficiency, Customer Service, Management Accounting, and Business Valuation. He has read hundreds of business books, he attended countless conventions and seminars as a delegate and over the last 20 years he has literally spent his every waking moment devoted to understanding the causes of business success.
Marco Robert is a true citizen of the world. Right after his graduation, he worked in Montreal, Canada and in Nassau, Bahamas for five years in order to gain enough experience and muster the confidence to start his first business. At 27, he moved to Guatemala in Central America, learned the local language, Spanish, and opened two restaurants. Later, after selling his restaurants, Marco started a private equity investment company, and soon moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, from where he operated that business.
Starting in 2001, he began visiting California’s Silicon Valley on a regular basis. The charms, climate and entrepreneurial spirit of Northern California soon seduced him. So, in 2004 with apartner, they started a management consulting firm and began helping local Californian businesses grow and thrive. As soon as the word got out about the kind of successes his clients were having, Marco got head hunted to collaborate on larger consulting projects with a national consulting firm.Over the years he has collaborated with several such large firms on business projects all over the world. In 2016, with a partner, he formed his latest business; a Silicon Valley boutique venture capitalist firm.
Today, most of Marco’s working time is spent in assisting existing companies through difficult turnaround challenges, with their funding needs or with their mergers & acquisitions (M&A) efforts. But when he is not travelling around the world, Marco likes to hang out with his family at his lake house north of Toronto, Canada.
